Fire safety compliance support
Help with the arrangements behind the assessment: policy, testing and records, evacuation strategy and remedial tracking, so the paperwork reflects what actually happens in the building.
Management arrangements
Overview
Since 1 October 2023 responsible persons must record their fire safety arrangements as well as the assessment itself, cooperate with other responsible persons in the same building, and give residents of multi-occupied residential buildings clear fire safety information (Section 156 of the Building Safety Act 2022). These are management duties, and they are where many organisations are weakest.
We help you put arrangements in place that a fire safety inspector would recognise as competent management: a policy that says who does what, testing and maintenance regimes that are actually followed, records that prove it, and an evacuation strategy the building can support.

Questions we are often asked
We have received a letter or notice from the fire and rescue service. Can you help?
Yes. Our directors have served notices from the other side of the table. We can help you understand what is being asked, what is proportionate, and how to respond and evidence compliance within the timescale.
What information must we give residents?
In England, responsible persons for buildings containing two or more sets of domestic premises must give residents fire safety instructions for the building, including the evacuation strategy and how to report a fire, and information about the importance of fire doors. Taller buildings carry further duties. See the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 guidance.
